Do you notice a change in your dreams during a full moon? Many people do. Some notice that their dreams become more vivid. This is an excellent time for dream incubation. Set the intention to be shown what needs to be illuminated in your life/what you need to know. Or, what you need to release.

Today we have the full moon with a partial lunar eclipse visible over parts of Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, select parts of North America, South America and Antarctica. The Moon will start to enter Earth’s shadow at 7.43pm BST and the maximum partial eclipse will occur at 10.30pm BST.

The entire eclipse lasts for around five and a half hours, ending at 1.17am BST on 17 July. This eclipse occurs when the Moon is at approximately 24 degrees of Capricorn, opposing the Sun at 24 degrees Cancer. A Lunar eclipse is an especially potent lunation — in this case a potent Full Moon in Capricorn. Lunar eclipses tend to be relationship-oriented. This is a time when anything brewing under the surface can come to light. It’s a time of endings and beginnings. Relationships may be challenged, broken, or strengthened.

Work with this full moon to balance commitment to career and families, and to express feelings. Use willpower, intention, symbolism, and ritual to harness the power of this full moon to generate deep change within the subconscious.

For a simple full moon ritual:
🌟Prepare your scared space by cleansing & blessing (smudging)
🌟Call in support through prayer & set intention (full moons are good for releasing what no longer serves)
🌟Get clear on what you want to release & write down on paper to be burned (eg: self-doubt)
🌟 Whatever you’ve written down to release, write down what you now bring in to replace what you’ve released (eg: certainty & clarity)
🌟Burn whatever you want to release
🌟Burn what you welcome in
🌟Check in on your new moon intentions and see how far you’ve come
🌟Give thanks and close
